Heidelberg SAPS members interacted with community members at the Lesedi Community Care Centre.
The Social Crime Prevention and CPF coordinator and Domestic Violence and Victim Friendly Facility coordinator conducted a crime awareness campaign with community members at the Lesedi Community Centre in Rensburg on June 10 at 12:00.
The police felt the community requires more information in dealing with domestic violence-related matters, substance and drug abuse, reporting of criminal activities to the police as well as good parenting.
The police sensitised people on the importance of wearing masks in public, washing hands and maintaining a social distance to limit the escalation of Covid-19 infections.
