Prayer warrior prays for protection over Heidelberg

The prayer warrior, Jeremiah Zulu, was back in Heidelberg on June 23 to pray over the town and its residents.

Jeremiah is a pastor at the New Jerusalem Church in Witbank and regularly travels to surrounding towns to pray.

“People are scared. We are praying for protection,” Jeremiah said.

“No one knows what tomorrow will bring but we can trust in God.”

Blowing his shofar in front of the Heidelberg Police Station, he also prayed for the safety and protection of the police service. Jeremiah went around the town to local hospitals, praying especially for those affected by the pandemic.

From Heidelberg, he went to Brits, Mooinooi and will also visit local hospitals in the North-West area.

“People must turn back to God. He is our only saviour. Only He can save us from this pandemic,” Jeremiah added.

On June 22, 52 new Covid-19 cases were reported within 24 hours in Heidelberg, and prayer warriors and groups in hospital parking areas and small businesses and in the streets of residential suburbs are seen often.
