Good work done by local chamber applauded

Members of the Sedibeng Presidential Business Chamber were recently applauded for their excellent work.

Maintenance work had to be done on the R42 road passing the Heidelberg Mall. After Power Construction, who originally built the road, engaged with local small and medium enterprises, they appointed Sedibeng Presidential Business Chamber to do the work.

The scope of work included new side curbs, road markings and new asphalt to maintain the road.

“The workers did a great job and deserve the accolades,” said Hennie van der Merwe from Marble Gold Architects who facilitated the project.

The team from Sedibeng Presidential Business Chamber, who completed the work on the R42 road opposite Heidelberg Mall and received accolades for a job well done are Bongane Nkosi, Klate Mphuti, Kenny Mayisa, Zenzo Maphalala, Karabo Kganana, Sibusiso de Jesus, Mandla Dube and Mphumuzi Twala (chairperson).

“We are grateful that we got the opportunity and we are looking forward to more projects in the future,” Mphumuzi Twala, the chairperson, said.
