Three arrested for possession of firearms and ammunition
Police arrested the three men on December 20.
TSAKANE – Tsakane police members arrested three men on December 20 for the possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.

The arrests were made during an intelligence-driven operation between the Tsakane police and the EMPD.
The arrested men, all aged between 31 and 36, were rounded up at two separate locations.
Two were arrested in Geluksdal where they were cornered by police in a house. Police found an unlicensed firearm.
The third man, who is suspected of being linked to the first two arrests, was arrested in Langaville and had several live ammunition in his possession.
The men are suspected of being part of a syndicate that is terrorising the Tsakane community with business robberies and hijackings in the area.
Speaking during the arrests, Tsakane SAPS station commander Col Khumbulani Mbatha applauded the members for their persistence and hard work.
