Duduza SAPS practise evacuation drill

Duduza SAPS acting station commander, Capt Petrus Mabuza said that these evacuations could save lives.

The Duduza SAPS completed a building evacuation drill on January 28.

The routine drill was performed by all members who were in the building at the time.

Participants followed strict instructions on an identified route towards a designated assembly point.

The drill was carried out to help familiarise members with the station’s evacuation plan in case of a fire or other serious disaster that might require the station to evacuate.

The Duduza SAPS acting station commander Capt Petrus Mabuza monitored the drill and appreciated the efforts made by the members in taking the exercise seriously.

He stated that a well-coordinated evacuation will save lives.
