Members of the Duduza SAPS recently arrested an 18-year-old girl for the murder of her best friend.
The incident took place in the Zanane section on September 27 around 14:00.
It was reported that the two teenage girls, aged 18 and 19 respectively, were sitting at a house in Zamani, drinking liquor.
An argument allegedly ensued between the friends, where the 18-year-old accused the deceased of sleeping with her boyfriend, who had also been present at the time.
The 19-year-old friend was stabbed twice in the upper body and died on the scene.
The 18-year-old suspect was arrested on a charge of murder.
