Roadshow held in Ratanda
LLM and Gauteng Legislature conducted an information session in Ratanda.
Lesedi Local Municipality, Gauteng Provincial Legislature and other stakeholders held a roadshow in Ratanda on October 10.
The roadshow focused on the services to widows, widowers and child-headed households and the assistance available to the community.
It is becoming an occurrence where families are ripped apart by death, personal issues or family break-ups.
The roadshow provided advice and let the community know there are avenues to follow to get advice, legal assistance, deed registrations and more.

The roadshow was a partnership between the Master of the High Court, the Deeds Office, the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Social Development, the Independent Electoral Commission, various pension and provident funds and Lesedi Local Municipality.
The speakers included LLM executive mayor Mluleki Nkosi and Gauteng Legislature chairperson of committees Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane.

The community learnt about what to do in the household in dealing with finances, properties, social issues, voting processes and more.
The information shared was to ensure that whatever you want to do, follow the correct and legal way to ensure no issues later in life.
