The SAPS found the decomposed body of a woman at a residence in Ratanda on November 20.
The Ratanda SAPS were summoned to an address on Mnguni Street. Upon arrival, they noticed a foul smell emanating from the house.
After entering the home, family members showed the police the body of a naked woman (36) in a state of decomposition and covered in blood.
A tenant staying on the premises told the SAP he had not seen his landlord for several days.
The body was examined, and no physical injuries were found.
The cause of death is not known, and the SAPS is investigating.
