Operation Shanela targets non-compliance in Heidelberg

A multi-disciplinary Operation Shanela was conducted in Heidelberg on October 30 under the co-ordination of the Lesedi Local Municipality, focusing on law enforcement and regulatory compliance in the area.

The joint operation involved traffic officers, municipal officials and law enforcement agencies, who worked together to ensure adherence to road safety and business regulations.

Results of the operation included the issuing of traffic fines, inspections of unroadworthy vehicles and business trading compliance checks.
