Heidelberg SAPS seek wanted suspect after court no-show linked to murder and violent crimes

Heidelberg SAPS detectives are searching for Bonginkosi Kennedy Mndau (40), who failed to appear in the Benoni High Court where he was due for trial. A warrant of arrest has been issued as he is linked to multiple serious cases including murder, kidnapping, house robbery and hijacking.

Heidelberg SAPS detectives are currently looking for Bonginkosi Kennedy Mndau (40), who allegedly failed to appear in the Benoni High Court on June 8, where he was due to stand trial.

A warrant has since been issued for his arrest.

According to police, Mndau is linked to three separate criminal cases involving serious violent offences dating back to 2023, including house robbery, house robbery with aggravating circumstances in which a firearm was allegedly used, as well as kidnapping and car hijacking, and a murder reported along the R103.

Police confirmed that Mndau had previously appeared in court in relation to the matters but failed to attend the most recent proceedings.

His whereabouts are currently unknown. Members of the public who may have information on his location are urged to contact Heidelberg SAPS on 082 319 9378 / 010 499 4506 / 07 / 08.
