Damduikers enjoyed a day in Villiers

Marwin Lopser got the best catch of the day with a 4kg and 6kg carp.

Members of the Damduiker Fishing Club went to the Villiers Vakansie Oord on October 8.

Marvin Lopser of the club got the best catch of the day when he caught a 4kg and 6kg carp.

“He was very happy when his lines began running,” said Dominic Magalhaes of the club.

“Summer is here and we anticipate that we will land some big fish this season. We will keep our supporters up to speed with our schedule and which dams we are planning to visit.

“We also have some home dips that we want to use during the summer. A lot of effort was put into it during the winter and we are excited to put it to use.”
