Damduiker fishing kicks off

The Damduikers fishing club started their year on January 21 at Boschkop next to the Vaaldam.

“We had great challenges with the catches, but it was fun to start the year on the counting board,” said Dominique Magalhaes of the Damduikers.

The biggest barbel of the day was caught by Geronimo Langford while Magalhaes got the biggest carp of the day.

The clubs’ next outing will be held at the Bloemhof Dam on February 25 and 26.

“We are looking forward to the year and would like to thank the community and our sponsors for their continuous support,” Magalhaes concluded.
