Friends of Marievale enjoy fun bowls day
Funds raised will be used for maintenance and improvements of the facilities at Marievale.
The Friends of Marievale held a fundraising bowls day on November 5 at the Nigel Bowling Club.
The Nigel Bowling Club team won, with the runners-up being a team from the Friends of Marievale group.
Experienced bowlers joined supporters who had never previously bowled in a fun-filled competition followed by a light lunch at the club.
The Friends group will use funds raised to improve facilities at the Marievale Nature Reserve.
