Die NG Moedergemeente, Nigel, bied hul immer gewilde Kers-, Vers- en Melodieaand aan om 18:30. Johan Swanepoel is die gaskunstenaar, en dit beloof om ‘n uitmuntende aanbieding te wees. ’n Heerlike ete vanaf 16:30 sal die geleentheid afskop, en etekaartjies is beskikbaar by die kerkkantoor, 94 Kerkstraat, Nigel gedurende kantoorure (Maandae tot Vrydae vanaf 08:15 tot 12:30). Nigel Community Church will host a night market at John Vorster School Sports Grounds with food stalls, entertainment and music. Entrance is free and gates will open at 16:00. A neon glow fun run will take place from 18:30. Entry to partake in the run is R40 for adults, R25 for kids and R15 for pets. Contact the church office on 066 569 8345 for more information.

The Mr and Miss America Star competition will take place at Tini Vorster primary school in Nigel. Registration starts at 10:00. R250 pageant entry fee. For spectators, the entrance fee is R20. The ageant will start at 11:00. Thisis a fundraiser for Carisa Botes, who was scouted to represent SA in America in 2025.
