Heidelberg Athletics Club shines at Hollywoodbets running event
The athletes performed well, with many achieving personal bests and impressive finishes.
The Heidelberg Athletics Club’s Red Army painted the streets of Johannesburg purple when they competed in the highly anticipated Hollywoodbets Joburg 10km, a premier running event attracting thousands.
The athletes put their training into action and showcased their skills and determination to make a lasting impression.
The athletes performed well, with many achieving personal bests and impressive finishes. The result sheets ranged between 00:40:51 and 01:16:22.
The highlight was the support among team members, from Coach Ndumiso’s pre-race encouragement to the celebrations at the finish. The Red Army embodied the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship.
“We are proud of our athletes, coaches and supporters who make our club a vibrant and successful community,” said member Lebogang Tutubala.
