Local business donates big to SPCA in heartwarming act of community support
When Nigel SPCA asked for paint, a local business delivered, literally. A bakkie full of supplies is giving new life to the kennels and hope to rescued animals.
In a heartwarming act of generosity, UBuild Mica Nigel came to the rescue of the Nigel SPCA by donating a bakkie-load full of paint, roof paint, and tools to help refurbish the organisation’s aging kennels.
The Nigel SPCA recently put out a call to the public for donations of paint to help improve their animal enclosures, and the response from Mica Nigel was overwhelming.
“We are truly grateful to Jana and the entire Mica team for their incredible support,” said a spokesperson for the Nigel SPCA.
“Their kindness will help us create a cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming environment for the animals in our care.”
The donation will go a long way in improving the shelter’s facilities, many of which are in urgent need of refurbishment. The SPCA relies heavily on community support and donations to continue its work in protecting and caring for animals.
This generous contribution is a shining example of what can be achieved when local businesses partner with community organisations for a common cause.
“Supporting the Nigel SPCA is close to our hearts,” said Jana from Mica.
“We’re proud to be part of a community that looks after its animals.”
