Awards keep pouring in for local dancer
With a collection of national titles and provincial colours, Kaylee de Bruyne’s dedication and talent have earned her a spot to represent South Africa on the international stage in 2026.
Kaylee de Bruyne, a standout dancer from Zoë Dance Studio, has been turning heads with her impressive performances on the dance floor.
Over the past year, she has made her mark on the national stage.

“With a heart of gold and a humble, hardworking spirit, Kaylee’s passion for dance has shown what she is capable of,” said coach Letisha Nel from Zoë Dance Studio.

Kaylee has achieved top honours across ballet, contemporary, jazz, and acrobatics this year. She has walked away with multiple category wins, provincial and national colours.
Kaylee has been selected to represent South Africa on the international stage in 2026.
“Kaylee continues to inspire others with her dedication and grace, both on and off the stage,” said Nel.

Some of Kaylee’s achievements are:
• Legends of Arts SA Championships: four golds, one A+, two A++, one A+++ and progressed into final rounds. Final round: one A+++, three A++.
• Paragon Eisteddfod: four golds, A++, one item and a winning trophy.
• Vivarte Dance Eistedfod: three A++, one A+.
• South African Championships of Performing Arts 2025 (SACOPA): four golds and through to nationals.
• Teatro Arti Eisteddfod: four golds, three A+++, one A+, three categories.
• Talent Africa: four golds, provincial colours, qualified for nationals.
• Con Spirito- dance: four golds, one A+++, two A++, one A+. National round: three golds, three A+++.
• Dance for Growth 2025: three golds, one first place, one fifth place.
• A-Arts Dance Festival: four golds, one A+, three A, four first places.
• DTMA Gauteng Trials: four golds, two A++, one A+, one A, three first places, overall trophies, one second place.
Gauteng Provincials: four golds, three A++, one A+, four first places. Nationals: four golds, two A++, two A+, SA colours, international dance colours and SA Team.
• Elements of Dance: four golds, one A++, three A+, Gauteng provincial colours and progressed to nationals.
• Dance Academy of SA Dance Awards: four golds, one A+++ , three A++, four first places and ultimate gold awards.
• Bold International Eisteddfod: four golds, two A+++ , two A++, progressed to semi-finals.
• Allegreto Eisteddfod: Regional: four golds, one A++, three A+. Provincial level: four golds A++, trophy for provincial achiever.
• Del Arte Eisteddfod: four golds, four A+++, three items.
• Show your talent SA: four golds, provincial colours and selected for SA Team 2026.
• National Eisteddfod of SA: One gold, three diplomas.
• AINE SA: four golds, three A+++, one A++.
• Vinatix Eisteddfod: four golds, one A+, one item.
• Talente Arts Festival: four golds, four A+++.
• Crescendo Arts Festival: four golds, two A++, two A+, four items, three sectional wins.
