Nigel residents enjoy festive Night Market and Glow Fun Run

Residents braved the weather for a night of fun, food and glowing good times at the annual community market and fun run.

The Nigel Community Church once again lit up the town with its annual Nigel Night Market and Neon Glow Fun Run on October 31.

Barry Engelbrecht, Ronché Meij, Quintin Meij, Naomi Moss manned one of the many stalls.

Hosted at the Hoërskool John Vorster sports field, the vibrant evening became a highlight on Nigel’s community calendar.

Rohan and Milanke Meyburgh enjoyed the night market.

Though the weather didn’t play along, the community still came out to support the market.

There were plenty of stalls offering delicious food, drinks, and gifts for sale. Christmas in Nigel wouldn’t be the same without this much-loved market.

Floyd Naidoo and Lesego Seotlwe combined work and fun at the market.

Registration for the Glow Fun Run started at 16:00, with the race kicking off at 19:00. The 3.3km route made for a night filled with fun, food, and fellowship, complemented by live entertainment from local artist Niko.
