Hoërskool John Vorster learners are dancing their way to success, proving that dedication and passion pay off.

Three talented dancers, Keira Ellerbeck (Grade 10), Skyra Pinto (Grade 11) and Gabriella Pinto (Grade Eight), participated in the SA Dance School Championships in Centurion from October 13 to 25.

Keira received a high silver medal for her solo lyrical novice dance, scoring 75% in the 15–17 years category.

Skyra received a high gold with 88.3% in the showstopper novice category for ages 19 and over. Her performance also earned a special award for being the most entertaining.

Gabriella earned a high silver medal in the acro dance novice category for ages 13 to 15.
