The spirit of Christmas came alive on December 24 during the GNK Auto Christmas Drive, an initiative that brought joy, gifts, and unforgettable moments to children and families in Nigel.

Festive Christmas carols played throughout the drive, setting a cheerful tone and creating a warm holiday atmosphere.

Children were treated to a special visit from Father Christmas, who personally handed out gifts and sweet packets.
Each child also had the opportunity to take a photograph with Father Christmas, creating lasting memories of the joyful occasion.

GNK Auto owner Cerkia De Souza Diaz said the initiative exceeded all expectations and left a lasting impact on everyone involved.

“This was our very first Christmas Drive, and it truly touched our hearts in ways we never imagined. Seeing the happiness and excitement on the children’s faces made every bit of planning and hard work worthwhile,” she said.

“There were moments when emotions ran high, we saw tears of joy from our team, the children, and even parents. It reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas, which is love, kindness, and giving,” she said.

De Souza Diaz also expressed her gratitude to the sponsors and supporters who helped make the event possible.

“I would like to thank our sponsors and everyone who supported this initiative. Without their generosity, this Christmas Drive would not have been possible.

“Your contributions helped us bring smiles to so many young faces, and for that, we are truly grateful. This memory will carry with us forever because the event proved to be deeply emotional for everyone involved,” she said
