Rensburg residents come together for Community Day at old Skou Gronde
Residents, vendors, businesses and community organisations gathered at the old Skou Gronde on August 29 for a Community Day that included clothing donations, local vendors and discussions on strengthening the Rensburg community.
Rensburg residents gathered at the old Skou Gronde on August 29 for a Community Day aimed at strengthening community involvement and supporting residents in need.
The event was hosted by the Rensburg Forum NPC at the grounds next to LCS Logistics and brought together residents, local vendors, businesses, organisations and community supporters.
The initiative provided an opportunity for residents to meet, engage with one another and raise issues affecting the community.

A key part of the event was the distribution of donated clothing to residents in need. According to the Rensburg Forum NPC, nearly a trailer-load of clothing was collected and distributed during the day.
Local vendors also participated in the event, offering food and other products to residents and contributing to the community atmosphere.
The forum said it hopes the event will lead to more activities being hosted at the old Skou Gronde, including community events, markets, food stalls and activities for children and families.

The grounds could also provide an opportunity for local businesses and entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their products.
Representatives of the DA and Mokete Motsamai also attended the Community Day and engaged with residents about issues affecting the area.

The Rensburg Forum NPC said it remains committed to working with residents, businesses, organisations and other stakeholders on initiatives aimed at addressing community concerns and improving the area.
The organisers expressed their appreciation to everyone who attended the event, volunteered, donated clothing, supported the vendors or contributed in any way.
