The Heidelberg Hospital Pharmacy Unit will mark Pharmacy Month with a week of outreach programmes from September 14 to 18.
The initiative forms part of national Pharmacy Month, observed annually in September, under the theme ‘Ask Your Pharmacist. Your Pharmacist – Your Partner in Health.’
During the campaign, the unit will conduct activities educating clients on safe medication practices.
The awareness initiatives focus on teaching community members how to correctly consume, handle and dispose of general medication.
