•12/4/12L- W10/R1) Notice is hereby given in terms of section 38 (3) of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act (Act 39 of 2004). Engen Mokopane Terminal is a holder of an AEL from the Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism (DEDEAT). Engen Mokopane Depot intends to increase the volumes of diesel and petrol to be loaded. Nature and Purpose: The license variation application is therefore required in terms of Sections 46 (3) and (4) of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act (Act 39 of 2004) (NEMAQA) whereby (3) If a licensing authority receives a request from the holder of a licence in terms of subsection (l)(d), the licensing authority must require the holder of the licence to take appropriate steps to bring the request to the attention of relevant organs of state, interested persons and the public, and (4) Steps in terms of subsection (3) must include the publication of a notice in at least two newspapers circulating in the area in which the listed activity authorised by the licence is, or will be, carried out
