The match started at a high intensity with good and accurate passes from both teams’ midfielders.
Strikers were on target but both goalkeepers made remarkable saves keeping the ball from reaching the back of the net.
It was a tactical match with two competitive sides forcing the match to a penalty shootout after a full-time score of 1 – 1.
Cambridge FC’s star player Rivaldo Sofalo stepped up to the mark and scored the winning penalty securing the win for Cambridge FC’s u/17s.
MAFA league will have their presentation evening on November 29 at the Sports Bar in Alra Park at 18:30 where both players and teams will be awarded for their performances during the season and winners will be announced.
