Successful end to Dumisani Chauke Netball Foundation Women’s Month outreach

Spar Proteas Assistant Coach, Dumisani Chauke and her foundation - Dumisani Chauke Netball Foundation (DCNF) concluded their successful five-stop SPAR feme pack handovers at the Mohlakeng Tennis Court in Randfontein on August 30.

Over 100 deserving netball players were given feme packs sponsored by Spar in Mohlakeng. In total Dumisani Chauke and her foundation (DCNF) distributed 500 feme packs to netball players in five Gauteng throughout August.

“Here’s to strong women in sport. May we raise them. May we empower them. May we be them. Let us be, to those coming after us, the role models we needed when we were growing up. Do what you can, with what you have,” Dumisani Chauke said.

Adding to this, Mike Prentice said that Spar is grateful to have partnered with Dumisani Chauke and her foundation in this programme during women’s month.

“It aligns with our values in uplifting and developing women in society,” he concluded.
