On April 9 and 10, Ability Academy coach Stefan Pretorius (29) and William Roos (9) participated in the Submission Kings grappling tournament at the Walter Sisulu Hall in Randburg.
Grappling is a form of competition and a general term for martial arts and combat sports that focuses on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of obtaining a submission through the use of submission holds.
Roos earned himself a bronze medal in his age category and Pretorius won his division and was awarded a gold medal.
