Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar
- 1 cup salt
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Food colouring (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the flour, cream of tartar, and salt.
- In a separate saucepan, mix the water, vegetable oil, and food colouring (if using). Heat the mixture over medium heat until it begins to boil.
- Slowly pour the boiling water mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring continuously with a spoon.
- Continue to stir until the mixture starts to come together and form a dough.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes.
- Store the play dough in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
No-Cook Play Dough Recipe
Ingredients

- Knead the mixture until it forms a dough.
- Store the play dough in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
