Two bodies were recently found dumped in a veld near the intersection of R103 (Old Alberton Road) and R550.
According to Heidelburg SAPS, one of the bodies was identified by the family and the other has not yet been identified.
The identified body was that of Bongiwe Skosana.
Bongiwe was abducted by armed robbers from her family home on June 17.
SAPS confirmed that the two discoveries were unconnected, as the second body was in an advanced condition of decay and was starting to decompose from lengthy exposure to the elements.
The two incidents are still being investigated by police as part of their ongoing investigations.
