Brevis delivers again in Titans win

Dewald Brevis delivered an exceptional performance in the match between the Titans and the North West Dragons yesterday.

The Northerns Titans maintained their winning start to the T20 Challenge with a five-wicket victory over the North West Dragons in Potchefstroom on Saturday.

Duan Jansen blasted a 27-ball 41, which included four sixes, as the Dragons posted 134-8 after winning the toss and batting first.

Lesego Senokwane (run-a-ball 34) and Heino Kuhn (23 off 19) also made notable contributions with the bat, while Junior Dala took 2-31 in his four overs for the Titans.

Dewald Brevis (40 off 28), and Theunis de Bruyn (36* off 32) then ensured the Titans reached the target with 15 balls remaining.

Caleb Seleka took 3-39 for the Dragons, removing Brevis and Musawenkosi Twala in consecutive deliveries, and later Neil Brand (15).

Renaldo Meyer finished with 2-19 in four overs after picking up the wickets of Jiveshen Pillay (15) and Donavon Ferreira (10).
