The two teams, from Emmangweni and Ivory Park respectively, met in aTembisa United Football Association (TUFA) promotional league game, which was played at the Square One Sport Grounds on Sunday.
It was clear from the first whistle that All Nations FC wanted to defend, and only depended on counter attacks.
The Future Step FC players vowed to stop at nothing to qualify for the second round in TUFA promotional leaque.
Their right back, Kholo Xaba, scored Future Spec FC’s opening goal 20 minutes into the first half from a well-taken penalty.
The score was 1-0 at the end of the first half.
In the second half, All Nations FC fought back and pushed hard for an equaliser, and at times, troubled Future Step FC’s defence.
This did not last long, as Future Step FC’s centre mid-fielder, Lefa Chino, scored two goals.
All Nations FC had a slight glimmer of hope when mid-fielder Joe Kgatle managed to secure one goal for his team.
The final nail in All Nations FC’s coffin was placed when Sanele Hlazo scored the fourth goal for Future Step FC.
He received the ball after a good cross from Gunga Sidiba, and powered the ball into the back of the net, beating the ‘keeper in the dying minutes of the game.
After the game, Future Step FC’s coach, Mlunkisi “Dzi” Mahlobo, said he was extremely impressed with his team’s perfomance.
“They proved themselves and played according to instructions. It is the first time we played a TUFA match and we are looking forward to winning the league,” he said.
