Business hub now open to the public
The new network is an all-in-one business centre
THE City of Ekurhuleni’s new business hub in town, which promises economic growth and more job opportunities by increasing entrepreneurship and investment into small businesses, is now open to the public.
The new business facilitation network will provide assistance to small and big enterprises through relevant and effective business solutions.
Situated on the corner of Voortrekker and Monument roads, this new one-stop business facility will offer services to the public that include helping businesses become registered, training, mentorship and coaching to entrepreneurial enthusiasts, planning tools and/or services, incubation, marketing assistance, access to finance as well as relevant business linkages.
The business network, which is just five minutes away from OR Tambo International Airport, is also aimed at improving relations with the broader investing community through provision of a tracking service for strategic investment projects.
The centre boasts an investment and development application front office, which caters for all major and strategic investment and development applications to be speedily processed through an electronic document management system.
Apart from generating billions of rand a year for the city, this new venture will benefit Ekurhuleni through the intensification of domestic and foreign direct investment into the area, encourage economic growth and create sustainable job opportunities, which will in turn help decrease Ekurhuleni’s 28% unemployment rate.
