Child welfare needs milk and nappies

Child welfare is in desperate need of milk and nappies for the little ones in their care

CHILD Welfare Kempton Park is in urgent need of milk and nappies for the babies and toddlers in its care.

As a result they have launched a nappy and milk drive for June.

Any donation of milk or nappies will be much appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at the child welfare offices on Maxwell Street and upon arrival people should ask for Lindsey Hanekom.

A number of local hairdressers are participating in this drive and there will be a savings box at each salon to donate the goods.

“We are dependent on your contribution and support and ask you to open your hearts to those little ones that cannot speak for themselves,” Hanekom, the society’s fundraiser, said.

For further information on which salons take part, call Hanekom on 011-970-1814.
