Tembisa residents embarked on a service delivery protest this morning.
According to the convener of the Tembisa Concerned Residents, Mr Joseph Matlaila, the strike will affect nearly all the sections of Tembisa.
He said some of the residents will start marching from Tswelopele section, and will be joined by residents from Winnie Mandela and the nearby areas, to the Multi-purpose Centre next to Emkhathini Section, while others will start marching from Phomolong, Sophiatown, Sangweni and will also head to the Multi-purpose Centre.
“In fact, residents from all sections will meet at the Multi-purpose Centre where they will march to the Rabasotho municipal offices,” he told The Tembisan.
