After a successful tour at the Zabalaza Festival in the Western Cape, the Tembisa-based Rutanang Community Theatre Projects went to Limpopo early this week, where they are expected to perform in places like Bogom and Polokwane for two weeks.

According to the director of the projects, Mr Lucky Kgafela, they also wowed crowds in the the Eastern Cape early this year.

“In the Eastern Cape, we covered numerous places including Queenstown, Port Elizabeth and East London. We also performed at the Grahamstown Arts Festival,” he said.

He added that they are always preaching the value of human respect and bringing back Ubuntu in South Africa and the country at large.

“Our mission is to make sure that teenage pregnancy is controlled and dealt with,” he said.

He also acknowledged the contribution made by the Lotto.

“We are thankful that they came on board. We would also like to thank Clover SA for the difference they are making,” he concluded.
