13 new Chief Superintendents for EMPD
In order to ensure efficiency and effectual control and planning at first line management level, EMPD management prioritised the urgent appointment of 13 Chief Superintendents.
The majority of the new appointments will be deployed in the operations division.
The appointees were promoted from within the organisation, with effect from September 1.
According the EMPD‘s spokesperson, Wilfred Kgasago, all the new appointments, save three, will be working in the operations division.
The three have been deployed in logistics, internal prosecution and data management. Ahead of their challenging responsibilities, the new Chief Superintendents will undergo intensive training at the EMPD Academy to hone their managerial, technical and communication skills.
