Kreft principal and office staff get iced

THE principal of Kreft Primary School, Johan Smuts, and the front office staff were dowsed with ice water on Thursday after Smuts was nominated in the ice bucket challenge along with two other primary school principals.

Smuts accepted the challenge from Laerskool Kruinsig’s Kletskousies and professional clown, Clumze Eddie, who is also an ex-pupil of Kreft. The front office staff decided they were not going to let Smuts do it alone and volunteered to join him.

Smuts is still deciding who to nominate.

Johan Kruger, principal of Laerskool Kruinsig, who took the challenge on September 26, has now nominated Hannes Roodt, principal at Laerskool Edleen.
