RHODESFIELD Technical High School’s Dux learner for 2014, Sakhile Twala, walked off with various trophies at the school’s annual prize-giving.
He won the Ronel Labuschagne Trophy for best contribution to culture, Joan Hunter Trophy for leadership and integrity and the PW Electronics Trophy. Sakhile, who was also the boy president this year, was also named Dux learner as top academic learner in grade 12 and also received the Han Eybers Trophy for best senior orator of the year.
He received certificates for being the best achiever in Afrikaans first additional language, English home language and mathematics electrical technology. He was also the best achiever in grade 12.
