NOMINATIONS are now open for new ward 13 committee members to be voted in.
Invitations are extended to all organised formations, interest-groups and sectors to register and nominate candidates for election as ward committee members representing the following sectors: women and children, aged and disability, health and social development, environmental development as well as economic development and city planning.
Nomination forms are available at the public participation offices at Room 5 & 6, Tembisa 1 CCA, 4th Floor, Kempton Park Civic Centre, Phomolong Library and Phomolong councillors office.
The closing date for nominations is November 21. The elections will be held on November 26 at Phomolong Secondary School at 5.30pm.
