Man pees in airplane; forced to clean up

A man who urinated in front of passengers on a Mango Airline flight from Port Elizabeth to OR Tambo International, was forced to clean up his mess in the kitchen area before being detained after the aircraft had landed at OR Tambo on Sunday evening.
Mango Airlines spokesman, Hein Kaiser, said the unsavoury incident happened on the 7pm flight on Sunday.
“We apologise to other passengers on board whose comfort was compromised due to the passenger’s negative social behaviour,” Kaiser said.
According to an incident report filed by the crew, the man had insisted on using the toilet during take-off, the Herald Live reported.
“When he was reminded that he had to remain seated during take-off, he proceeded to the front galley and relieved himself next to the seated cabin crew in full view of the passengers,” Kaiser said.
Kaiser said the man was eventually forced to return to his seat and was detained when the flight landed.
Before he left the plane, however, he had to clean up the urine in the kitchen.
