THE East Rand Industrialist’s Association (ERIN) hosted a breakfast meeting on November 28.
This was done to recognise the special efforts displayed by officials of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality’s northern service delivery region based in Kempton Park, towards industry in the industrial areas of Kempton Park.
Chairman of ERIN, Ramatiyane Seepe, said business was constantly pointing out problems of service delivery to the municipality in order for them to perform their duty of providing the required infrastructure for business to perform their functions, but they also wanted to take time to recognise the efforts put in by employees of the municipality to assist business in this regard.
The officials were awarded certificates of recognition as a token of thanks.
Those who received certificates were Noma Fuzile (social development), Lesley Hlalele (roads and stormwater), Maria Kekana (waste management), Attie Benson (emergency services) and Joseph Mampa (CCA manager).
Also in attendance were Adele Gilbert (head of business relations), Tracey Butler (ward councillor) and Tiziana Burtone (ward councillor).
