Phomolong Secondary School achieves 100 percent matric pass rate

Phomolong Secondary School in Tembisa achieved a 100 percent matric pass rate.

The school is one of those that contributed to Gauteng being the province to obtain the highest matric pass rate of 84.7 percent.

The 2014 matric results were announced by the Minister of Basic Education, Ms Angie Motshekga, last night.

With excitement hard to contain, MEC of Education in Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi could not stop smiling as colleagues and guests congratulated him on the great result achieved by Gauteng.
