Pupils positive about new project

Two grade 9 pupils at Boitumelong Secondary School thanked the Gauteng Education MEC, Mr Panyaza Lesufi, for giving them tablets and introducing the new educational project.

Buhle Masango and Phumzile Shili said they are confident they will be able to pass their exams at the end of the year, as they will be able to search for valuable information while learning.

“Since I received my tablet late last year, I learn everyday. We also have teachers who have been well trained on this project and learning is now easy and more enjoyable,” said Buhle.

Her classmate, Phumzile, said she never thought she would be able to use her own tablet while still at school.

“What makes the table more important is that it is not for playing games, but for learning. I am really happy. I am praying that God will give our MEC more strength to keep on doing wonderful things for us,” she said.
