The Tembisa-based musician, Ms Tlalane Mofokeng, has released her debut album titled Ibuyile Africa.

The album consists of 13 tracks.

She said getting a recording deal these days is difficult and it took her 10 years to finally record her debut album.

“It is hard out there, but with determination and a will to succeed, I am happy I have recorded my album at last,” she said.

Her labum was recorded at MaGee studio in Sedibeng Section, Tembisa.

Ms Mofokeng, who is a blood sister of the first black Miss South Africa Jacky Mofokeng, said she was introduced to the music industry at an early age.

When asked what advice she had for up-and-coming artists, she said, “They must just wait for their time. It is never too late for whatever you want to do in life.”
