A prominent and internationally known South African Jazz/Gospel pianist, Mr Mdu Mtshali, will attend a jazz workshop at the Moses Molelekwa Art Centre on Saturday, February 14.

According to the director of the Moses Molelekwa Arts Foundation, Mr Jerry “Monk” Molelekwa, Mr Mtshali will share his knowledge with band members and members of the community on the day.

Mr Molelekwa said they are grateful that a person of Mr Mtshali’s calibre will rub shoulders with local musicians.

“As he will be at our disposal, our artists will learn a lot from him. We will hold another workshop on April 11, before we hosts a festival on April 17. There is limited seating and people are advised to be early for the workshop,” he said.

He added that the workshops would be sponsored by NLDF. He said Tembisans are going to have a feast of Real Jazzy 2015.
