Load shedding will be back with a vengeance on Saturday: Your schedule

The probability of load shedding is medium to high on Sunday

Eskom has just announced that stage 2 load shedding will be implemented on Saturday, February 14, from 8am to 10pm, as the system is constrained.

The announcement comes after Eskom announced earlier today that a load shedding-free weekend was a great possibility.

“We will use the weekend to build up diesel stocks and dam water levels for open cycle gas turbine plants and pump storage schemes respectively,” Eskom tweeted.

The probability of load shedding is medium to high on Sunday.
