Two for Joy FC’s U/17 team won the Chincha Sport Festival Games trophy when they beat View Tigers FC’s U/17 team 3-1.

The match was played at the Khalambazo Grounds on Sunday.

Two For Joy’s dribbling wizard Malesela Modiba and the slippery midfielder Nkululeko Hlongo, had the opponents baffled whenever they were in possession of the ball.

The pair opened the scoring when Hlongo received the ball from Khulekani Manganyi on the left flank. He dribbled past two defenders before passing the ball to Manganyi, who beat the ‘keeper with a low shot. It was 1-0 at the break.

View Tigers FC equalized 18 minute into the second half, from a well-taken free kick.

But their joy was short lived as Two For Joy’s players restored their lead five minutes later.

Modiba pounced on a loose ball and beat the ‘keeper.

Manganyi completed his brace in the dying minutes of the game to make the final score 3-1.
