“It is with great sadness to inform you that Cornelius (Corrie) Craukamp (51) was found deceased on Thursday morning,” ER spokesman Werner Vermaak said.
ER24 reported on Tuesday that Corrie went missing after he left his residence in Bloubosrand for work.
Family and friends were notified. ER24’s trauma counselling team have been made available should anyone wish to talk to them.
“We offer our sincere condolences to our colleagues, Corrie’s family and friends. ER24 would also wish to thank everyone that assisted in the search for Corrie, members of the public that shared the missing person’s report, the media that made time and space in their bulletins to publish the report as well as off duty search and rescue personnel that dedicated their time.”
