Willow View Academy offers a co-ed learning environment from pre-school to grade 9 with English as the primary language

PLG Schools opened its first school in Gauteng, called Willow View Academy, in Bredell in January.

PLG Schools South Africa is an affordable, quality, private education group with a vision to make private learning more accessible to communities across the country. PLG Schools aim to bridge the financial gap between government school fees and elite private school fees, thus bringing the benefits of private school learning to many more young minds.

Willow View Academy offers a co-ed learning environment from pre-school to grade 9 with English as the primary language.

On the eve of Valentine’s Day, the grade one class with their teacher, Annamarie Smit, went out of their way in spreading some Valentine’s joy and love by hosting a Valentine’s tea for senior citizens. The little ones got their creative juices flowing by arranging entertainment and colouring in some beautiful invitations that were personally delivered to the guests.

Senior citizens from the neighbouring homes were invited, as well as elderly folk that are cared for by MES in Kempton Park. The kids decorated the tables and proudly arranged little gifts for their guests. The guests were treated to singing, sweet treats and savoury snacks, accompanied by tea, sponsored by the PLG Group. The event was hosted in the gardens of Willow View Academy.
