A one-year-old boy has died after being struck by a car in Ivory Park today. The incident took place in Extension 15.

It is believed the accident involved three family members; the child’s mother, brother and the victim.

The mother was critically injured and was subsequently transported to hospital, along with her child.

The one year old was declared dead at the scene of the accident.

According to the Ivory Park SAPS, a Pakistani man lost control of the vehicle he was driving.
