Talented stars host golf day to raise funds for Florida trip
The event will be held at ERPM Golf Club, Pretoria Road, Boksburg on March 27 from 11am
JIVESHNIE Nair (15), a grade 10 pupil at Hoërskool Birchleigh, is desperately trying to raise funds for her trip to the Applause Rising Talent Showcase (ARTS) in Orlando, Florida in June.
Nair is one of a few young singers, actors, dancers and models in Johannesburg who were personally selected by Kimberley Myers, the international director of ARTS, to participate at her prestigious showcase to be held in Orlando, Florida in front of industry professionals.
The group from the East Rand, along with their families, have been hosting various fundraising initiatives to raise the money needed for the trip.
Their next fundraiser project is a golf day at ERPM Golf Club in Boksburg on March 27 from 11am.
Fourball – R2 500, hole sponsorship – R2 000, hole sponsorship plus fourball – R 3500, banner displays – R 1 000. This will include green fees, entertainment, optional dinner, auction and prize giving event.
